The Executive MBA Program is designed to benefit experienced managers and professionals. Typical candidates are individuals who see the need to develop a broader skill base and stronger general management capabilities in order to enhance their strategic leadership capabilities and their careers.

Application

Candidates must have the support of their organizations to undertake the intense commit-ment required to complete the program. Support must include making allowances for time away from work to attend class sessions. It may also include financial support through employee education assistance programs.

To apply:
Although each application will be considered on its own merits, in general, the following criteria apply:

  1. Candidates will have at least seven years of work experience including supervisory experience.
  2. Candidates must supply: three letters of recommendation, including one from senior management of their organization; a resume detailing their education and career to date; and a statement outlining their career and learning objectives.
  3. Candidates must demonstrate strong aptitude for graduate study in management through the achievement of an acceptable score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).

(4) Candidates should hold an undergraduate degree from a recognized institution with sufficient GPA to indicate their capability to pursue a rigorous academic program. Candidates who do not hold an undergraduate degree, but have considerable professional experience, may also be admissible. A limited number of students who do not meet all the criteria, but have outstanding attributes in other areas, may gain admission. We encourage individuals who believe such circumstances might apply to them to contact the admissions office.
